In 2002, the finance and economics magazine InvestGazeta launched a new project — The Top 100 Best Managers of Ukraine.
For the FIRST TIME EVER IN UKRAINE, an objective and comprehensive consolidated rating of the best company managers of all leading industries of Ukraine was put together.
In all economically developed countries, ratings such as these are an indicator of the development of corporate culture in the country. Until this time, there had not been a single methodologically grounded rating of managers in Ukraine.
The project’s primary aim was to identify a new, influential social segment in Ukraine – professional managers of the top management level.
As initiators and partners of the InvestGazeta project, Ernst & Young Ukraine and COMILFO Executive Search expected that this project would not only contribute to the transparency of Ukraine’s economy, but also over time create an information space for the emergence of a civilized market of top executives.
